For anyone interested I have a 1.8.1 Minecraft server with an associated website and vent server.

Feel free to connect and start playing. The server is generally up 8am to 12a EST, but will be up 24/7 in a few weeks. If you decide to join let me know, so we'll know who we have on the server. Hourly backups are automatically generated and a world map is created everyday at noon. The only rules are no griefing and to not mess with other peoples' stuff.
